Included in their experiences is Pickett’s Charge at Gettysburg and campaigns from Louisiana to the Shenandoah Valley. Ultimately, some of these young Vermonters are among the first Union soldiers to march into Richmond. Both volumes include prints, maps, photographs and extensive notes.
